Tenerife’s weather, like all other islands of the Canarian archipelago, has an all year round mild climate. The West African coast is not far away, with its hot, dry climate, enabling the Canaries to experience pleasant temperatures all year round.Mount Teide divides Tenerife into two different climate regions. The south of the island is a lot warmer and drier than the north. The north is a lot more lush and green, where there is a great deal more vegetation. Take note that when you read about the climate in Tenerife, it is usually taken from the weather station in the north, which might be a lot different from the actual weather in the south. Statistics reveal to us that Tenerife has the lowest temperature difference between winter and summer of almost anywhere in the world, making it an ideal year round holiday destination.
